Hi I'm Mary and my passion for baking started back in Colombia when I was a little girl watching all the Food Network baking shows. However, back then at home we did not have an oven, so I could only make desserts that required refrigeration or use tempered chocolate.

 

Years went by and when I was in high school, we finally were able to afford a stove with a built in oven, I simply loved making cookies and desserts for my friends and family.

 

 Fast forward, when I was an undergrad student in College, my hobby then become a way to make some extra income on my own, and I took part of my savings and invested in some kitchen equipment and ingredients to start making filled chocolates and truffles and sold them to my classmates and friends. 

 

In 2013, I moved to the US to continue with my graduate education, and even though I did not have the time or the resources to continue with my Baking/Chocolate Business, after I got done with College, I started making Chocolate Covered Strawberry Arrangements, and Custom Cakes for my friends and family. 

 

Finally in 2020 right before Covid hit, I started selling birthday cakes and cupcakes and honestly I loved the feeling of putting a smile on ppl's faces whenever they tried my baked goods.

Since then I have been creating dream cakes for my customers and mastered the art of making French Macarons. I have not only tried different recipes and flavors combinations, but also challenged myself with several decorating techniques. I call myself a CAKE ARTIST and cakes are my Canvases.
